Kathmandu, June 5, Mr. Sabin Lamichhane has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Global Youth Parliament. Out of 15 highly motivated shortlisted candidates, Mr. Lamichhane has been selected for the position of CEO. Mr. Lamichhane has more than 8 years of experience in the field of social work, youth empowerment, youth campaigns,environment conservation, education and many other issues related to SDGs. Mr. lamichhane holds M.A. in Conflict Peace and Development Studies from Tribhuvan University (Nepal) and Ruhuna University (Srilanka).He has previously worked with Bird Conservation Nepal (Birdlife Nepal). Mr. lamichhane is also currently working as lecturer and Head of Social Work Department at Nepal Mega College. He has successfully completed many education projects in rural parts of Nepal.
