Africa Pacific Deputy Coordinator, Khulekani Mondli Skosana is a youth activist whose activism started during his High School years, where he joined a Students Organisation- the Congress of South African Students and eventually led the organisation as the Secretary General from the year 2014 to 2017.

He is passionate about political, economic and social globalization and has made significant strides in this regard. He conveys a natural aptitude for interaction with young people and engaging on matters affecting the youth across the world and as such, he received a Youth Leadership Award from the Global Youth Parliament in the year 2019.

Khulekani is responsible for the International Liaison office of the African National Congress Youth League. He served as South African Convenor for a global youth organisation, Future Team. He acquired valuable insight of the challenges faced by refugees as a delegate to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR) ‘S Model United Nations (MUN) challenge. Credit to his passion for an organized youth, he formed part of the World Festival for the Youth and the Students Russia’s international organizing committee in 2017.

 

Khulekani is a proud Ndebele who advocates for sustainable development, with the firm belief that we live on a world borrowed from the next generation. This is the principle on which his entrepreneurship is built as a small-scale pig farmer. He believes that there are generation that have left the world better than they found it, that there are many in this generation who are doing the same and every young person needs to come on broad in that regard.
