Deputy Coordinator for SAARC Regional Committee, Dr. Mohsin Kamal is a young, ambitious action-oriented dental surgeon, social entrepreneur, youth activist, volunteer, journalist, global peace ambassador & motivational speaker from Lahore, Pakistan. He has been working for the past 20 years as a volunteer with a number of national and international organizations (NGOs) on various projects related to health, education, sexual & reproductive health rights, environment, human rights, volunteerism, democracy, diplomacy, women rights, entrepreneurship, decision making, peace development, relief work & gender issues. Dr. Mohsin voluntarily sets up free Dental & Medical camps for poor patients on bi-monthly basis. He is the media spokesperson for various radio and television channels to promote Oral Health and Hygiene Awareness.
He is an active and elected member of “Youth Parliament of Pakistan” since 2008 and Member National
Youth Assembly. He has conducted workshops; seminars and capacity building sessions for youth through the platform of Youth Parliament. He is the Chairman of a youth group-“Youth Intellectual
Movement” which aims to inculcate in youth the ability to express themselves on the issues they
confront and to gain the essence of volunteerism. He is the Editor in chief of UNDEF “Youth Ink”
magazine project- with the idea behind to let youth express their issues with solutions in an intellectual
way and in turn spread freedom of thought, speech and expression- along with South Asian Youth
magazines respectively. He also writes articles for the monthly Youth Voice magazine. He has remained
the Captain of “Human Rights Commission of Pakistan” in Lahore.
Dr. Mohsin Kamal has represented Pakistan on national and international levels and have won laurels in recognition for his services. Recipient of “Global Peace Ambassador Award” by Ministry Of Culture, Youth & Sports Maldives & University of Kiev, Ukraine respectively & “Young Leaders Award” by Ministry of Youth, Pakistan (2019)
