Gambia Deputy Country Coordinator, Winifred Nicol is Born in Serrekunda, Banjul, The Gambia, she is a Gambian journalist working with The Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS). Ms. Nicol works as a reporter, news presenter and producer at the above mentioned state television. She holds a diploma in gender and development studies at the Management Development Institute (MDI).
Winifred has benefited from capacity building training on gender mainstreaming and sensitivity, management and administration. In pursuance for excellence in journalism, She enrolled for a three-year diploma and advanced diploma in journalism at Insight Training Center and graduated with distinction.
