Sri Lanka Deputy Country Coordinator, Tharushalini Sivathurai is a chief member of SUNFO-SDG youth council of chavakachcheri. She is 22 years old. She is a first year student at university of Jaffna and currently following a bachelor’s degree in science in Agriculture (Special). As an agricultural student she has trained to perform highly for SDG goals such as Climate action and No poverty. She encourages the local farmers and their productive. She also interested in different fields such as Nature lover, poet, singer, dancer and peace builder.
She finished her secondary education at chavakachcheri Hindu College (National School). She has finished her internship eleven months at Hatton National Bank PLC (Kaithady branch) as a professional experience. She also participated as a Representative of Srilanka on YOUTH WAGGING PEACE south Asian regional workshop which was conducted by UNESCO MGIEP and Sri Lanka National Commission for UNESCO at Marino beach hotel, Colombo. She always organize and take part tree planting campaigns, taking highest to mountains, Corona awareness programmes, interfaith harmony week actions, Gender equality programme, Cultural events of SDG. She is an active member of Sri Lanka federations of youth clubs. She is a well rounded individual who lives with the passion, dedication and grace.
