South Sudan Deputy Country Coordinator, Florence nelson is a south Sudanese by nationality and her background is a peace building, professional skills development, business development, and job creation. She is the CEO of a company that provides marketing and strategic leadership services, VERIZON GENERAL TRADING CO.LTD. She is also the COFOUNDER of Self Sustainable Plan Initiative, a non-profit and a youth- led organization which its focus is youth empowerment, advocacy, gender equality and Sexual reproductive health. Florence is currently the CORPORATE RELATIONS/SPONSORSHIP OFFICER of JUBAFEST.
An initiative that brings out the best in all cultures and traditions in south Sudan. She also worked as a peace building and conflict resolution specialist with SEARCH FOR COMMON GROUND (SFCG), an international peace building and conflict resolution organization.
