Belgium Country Coordinator Nancy Christiaens, 23 years youth activist from Belgium. She has completed her bachelor in Sports Management, she can not wait to improve the world through the love of sports. When she was a third-year student she had even had her internship in Valencia where her passion for especially organizing sports tournaments was confirmed! During this internship she worked at Valencia Basket Club and she also worked very close with R&O Eventos Deportivos where she helped organizing an international youth soccer tournament with famous teams such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Valencia, etc. She also helped with organizing the Spanish National Wheelchair basketball tournament.
She would describe herself as a real sports fanatic and an organized responsible person. She is also a great learner and she seize opportunities to improve her knowledge and skills.
Throughout her studies, she has also dedicated herself to work at international sport events in order to gain experience in the sports field. Therefore she was selected in many international sport events such as the 17th FINA World Championships in Budapest, FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia and the 2nd European Games in Minsk.
The experience as a brand protection volunteer during the FIFA World Cup 2018 was really the icing on the cake on her volunteer practice. This is why she used to work with people from different cultures and origins and she is not shy to express herself in foreign languages. Her biggest passion are sports, travelling and helping people forget about their worries or problems with using sports as a tool.
