Mitchel García

Mexico Country Coordinator, Mitchel Emmanuel García Villaseñor is a young lawyer Nayarit, Mexico. He studied Law at the Autonomous University of Nayarit. He developed legal research at the University of Guadalajara, and he studied Management Politics and Political Leadership at George Washington University. He has been involved in diverse political and academic activities. In 2012 he was member of the advisory parliamentarians committee in the State Congress of Nayarit. Mitchel has played a fundamental role within the youth leaders who excel in Mexico. He was a member of the Youth Parliament of Mexico in 2017 in the Mexican Senate. In 2018 he founded the Youth Parliament of Nayarit in order to promote leadership and political participation among young people. His great passion in political communication has led him to work as a communication advisor for the candidate for Governor of Nayarit, as well as with the Governor of Coahuila in Mexico. Furthermore, he has been part of the team executing the digital communication strategy for the Mayor of Guatemala City, in Guatemala.
