
Sri Lanka Country Coordinator, Janith Prabashwara Perera is an emerging Youth and Peace Activist from Sri Lanka. Professionally he is a lecturer cum trainer in English competency, Leadership Skills and Soft Skill Development, and Peace building and Conflict Resolution.
Prabashwara is a member of the Youth Peace Panel of Sri Lanka delivered by the United Nations. He is also a two time finalist at UNYD programme. He functions as Sri Lankan Ambassador to World Institute of Peace (Nigeria) and Youth Advocates Ghana. He is an International Peace Leader of Institute of International Peace Leaders. He is also the project consultant and manager – international affairs of Impact Youth Sustainability, Youth Led Organization in DR Congo.
He is a Nationary Advisory Coordinator of the SDG Children Parliament of Sri Lanka hosted by the Sri Lanka United Nations Friendship Organization and a former National Task Force Member and Current Facilitator of International Youth Alliance for Peace.
Prabashwara has completed his higher studies in Sustainable Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has been awarded with the most prestigious ‘Mahatma Gandhi Leadership Award’ from India and been nominated for the ‘40 under 40 Peace Champions Award’ from Maldives.
